97 billion 4 million drams. This is how much the government of the Republic of Armenia has allocated in the first six months of 2026 to solving citizens' health problems within the framework of the health insurance system.
In the first 6 months of 2026:
• 1 million 700 thousand beneficiaries were included in the system.
• 842 thousand 750 citizens used the services.
• More than 13 thousand people received cardiovascular surgery.
• More than 6 thousand people used oncology services.
The government continues to expand the health insurance system, providing more citizens with affordable and quality health services.
From January 1, 2027, employees with civil legal contracts, drivers working in taxi services and all registered employees will also become beneficiaries of the system.
