How much was Armenia's trade turnover in January-September?

In January-September 2024, Armenia's foreign trade turnover increased by 73.5 percent compared to the same period last year, amounting to 23 billion 717.9 million dollars. This is stated in the summary published by the Statistical Committee of the RA. Compared to August, the volume of trade turnover in September decreased by 13 percent, amounting to 1 billion 937.9 million dollars.

An increase of 22.4 percent was recorded compared to September of the previous year. In the first 9 months of the current year, exports exceeded the one-year figure by 2.1 times, amounting to 10 billion 595.4 million dollars.

In September, compared to August, export volumes decreased by 13.1 percent, amounting to 857.1 million dollars.

The index of September of the previous year was exceeded by 38.9 percent. Import volumes in January-September increased by 54.2 percent, making 13 billion 122.5 million dollars. Compared to August, the volumes in September decreased by 12.9 percent, making 1 billion 80.8 million dollars. The indicator of September of the previous year was exceeded by 11.9 percent.
