"We learned from our sources in the law enforcement system that in recent weeks, they have breathed new life into the criminal proceedings regarding the 44-day war. Middle-rank military personnel, mainly their own, are being summoned for questioning in order to extract testimony against high-ranking military personnel, officials responsible during the war, mainly representatives of the General Staff. Our sources do not rule out that this is just a prophylactic, intimidation operation before the elections, in order to make the military understand: don't think of giving games.
However, they do not rule out the arrests, which will try to make the atmosphere of fear more impressive towards those who "play games" with the opposition. By the way, they say that the former head of the Security Service, Onik Gasparyan, who recently showed signs of activity, went underground for this reason, and they made it clear to him to keep quiet, otherwise "it will not be good."
