At the beginning of his speech at the 8th summit of the European Political Community, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, wished peace to Armenia and Azerbaijan, then referred to the war against Iran and its consequences.
"We wish Armenia and Azerbaijan exclusive peace, which will be stable and long-lasting. We wish this to both states. Dear friends, the challenges are clear, we all see that the war in Iran is still unresolved, it can be long-lasting and increase the cost of life for everyone," said Zelensky, highlighting the energy cooperation between the countries.
Referring to the war against Ukraine, Zelensky noted that it continues to be as fierce as before.
"This summer will be the moment when Putin will have to decide what to do next: should he expand the war or switch to diplomacy?" We have to push him towards diplomacy," said Zelensky and addressing the participants of the summit, he added that the 20th package of sanctions against Russia should be pushed forward.
