The London police announced the arrest of about a hundred pro-Palestinian activists of the banned "Palestinian Action" movement during a rally.
Earlier, hundreds of supporters of the movement gathered in Trafalgar Square in the center of London, holding banners supporting the movement. During similar protests last year, police arrested hundreds of people, including teenagers and pensioners.
“A group of people were sitting with banners supporting the Palestinian Action Movement. As of 2:50 p.m. (4:50 p.m. Moscow time), police have made 92 arrests for supporting the banned organization. The age of the arrested is 27-82.
Police are continuing to make arrests," Scotland Yard said in a social media post.
