Turkey condemned Israel's adoption of the death penalty law

Turkey condemned the adoption by the Israeli Parliament of the law establishing the death penalty for terrorism, calling it against the Palestinian people and invalid. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement.

"We condemn the law by the Israeli parliament establishing the death penalty, which is intended to be applied exclusively to Palestinians. This law, which aims to strengthen the regime of the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinians, is a continuation of the policy of denial, destruction and political executions against the Palestinian people.

It is illegal and invalid," the statement said. The statement emphasizes that Turkey has called on the international community, first of all, the United Nations, "to take measures against Israel's racist and illegal actions".
