US President Donald Trump will visit Beijing on May 14-15 to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said.


"I am pleased to announce that the long-awaited meeting between President Trump and President Xi Jinping in China will now take place in Beijing on May 14 and 15," Levitt said during a press conference.


Levitt also said that First Lady Melania and President Trump will host Xi Jinping and Ms. Peng in Washington during their expected return visit later this year.
