"Aeroflot" denied the information about the emergency landing of the flight SU1854 Moscow-Baku at the Sheremetyevo airport due to engine failure.
In fact, the plane collided with a bird, after which its commander decided to return to the airport of departure, the press service of the air carrier reported.
"Aeroflot denies the false information spread by one of the Telegram channels about the alleged emergency landing of the plane due to engine failure. In accordance with the flight regulations, the commander of flight SU1854 Moscow-Baku decided to return to the airport of departure on March 22 due to the collision of the plane with a bird after takeoff," Aeroflot announced on Telegram.
The landing was carried out as planned, and the flight itself will soon be carried out by a spare plane.
