Iran has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened only after the end of the conflict

The Strait of Hormuz will be opened for free navigation only after the end of the armed conflict in the region and the full fulfillment of Tehran's conditions, according to a senior Iranian official. "The Strait of Hormuz will be opened only in case of a complete ceasefire and the unconditional fulfillment of Iran's conditions," the Iranian official stated, as quoted by "Al Jazeera".

Moreover, he added that any ceasefire plan that does not meet Tehran's demands will be unacceptable to Iran.

He clarified that a possible diplomatic solution to end the war should include "compensation to Iran, cessation of attacks on resistance groups in neighboring countries and withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanon."
