US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant announced on Friday that the United States will launch its largest bombing campaign against Iran this evening.
"Tonight we will carry out the biggest bombing campaign and we will do the biggest damage to Iran's missile launchers and missile factories," he said in an interview with Fox Business. On February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran.
The attacks reached the major cities of Iran, including Tehran. The White House justified the attack by referring to missile and nuclear threats allegedly coming from Tehran.
