The candidate for the president of Moldova and the current head of state, Maya Sandu, has stated that there is a risk of bribing voters in the second round of the presidential elections. "Thieves want to buy our votes, they want to buy our country, but they cannot win if we are united," he said.
According to him, at this moment "it is important to preserve unity and protect our votes, protect independence." On November 3, the second round of presidential elections started in Moldova.
In the first round of voting held on October 20, the acting head of state, Maya Sandu, received 42.49% of the votes, and the former general prosecutor of the republic, Alexander Stoyanoglou, received 25.95%.
