The Mexican government's foreign policy serves as a stabilizing factor in Latin America amid US military operations in the region, Russian Ambassador Nikolai Sofinsky told RIA Novosti.
"It is undeniable that the foreign policy conducted by the government of Claudia Sheinbaum in the current situation serves as a healing and stabilizing factor in Latin America," said Sofinski.
He reminded that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the leadership of Russia have repeatedly assessed US actions against neighboring Cuba and Venezuela as aggression.
According to the ambassador, such actions create a dangerous precedent, threatening "the entire system of legal regulation of international relations on a global scale."
