The United States has not asked Iran to give up uranium enrichment forever, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"These assumptions do not correspond to reality. We have not proposed any suspension of uranium enrichment.

The United States has not asked for zero enrichment," he said in an interview with MSNBC when asked to comment on reports that Iran has allegedly offered a two- to three-year moratorium on uranium enrichment, while the United States is demanding a complete waiver.
