The United States is withdrawing all its remaining troops from Syria, reports The Wall Street Journal, citing sources. According to the magazine, the United States is already withdrawing about 1,000 remaining American troops from the Arab Republic.
This process can take about two months.
The decision is not related to the escalation of tensions between the United States and Iran. In early February, it was reported that the US Central Command had completed the orderly withdrawal of American forces from Al-Tanf Air Base in Syria.
