Why has the government become "generous" towards political prisoners? "Publication"

"Hraparak" newspaper writes:

"Recently, the courts have started to change the means of restraining persons detained in politically noisy cases to house arrest. Of course, in terms of a person's freedom, house arrest is no different, it even implies a stricter regime than prison arrest, because additional restrictions are placed on the person's visits and communication, but in the public perception it is a positive change, with the reasoning that "at least a person will be in his home". This is how they behaved with regard to Reverend Mikael and Mkrtich, Davit Hambardzumyan, Artsakh MP Davit Galstyan and others.

According to some reports, this "generosity" towards political prisoners does not endear the government, but under the influence of some pressures. Recently, the opposition and various public circles have been raising the issue of political persecution in Armenia, accusing the international community of encouraging violence, sending letters and complaints to various structures, and this has had a certain effect.
