Speaking at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the President of the UN General Assembly, former German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock called on the world to support the UN and follow its charter.
"The current world order is not only under pressure, but also under attack.
The world needs the United Nations, and right now peace is a necessity," said Burbock. In his speech in Strasbourg, the former German foreign minister pointed out the wars in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip and Sudan, the crises in Venezuela and Iran, as well as the dispute over Greenland.
