Egypt joins Gaza Peace Council

Egypt has agreed to join the Peace Council for the settlement of the Gaza Strip, created by US President Donald Trump. The invitation was sent to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

"US President Donald Trump has invited his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to join the Peace Council. Egypt welcomes this step and announces its agreement to join the organization," the statement said.
