Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will participate in the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos. He will meet with his American counterpart Donald Trump, the office of the Egyptian leader announced.
"Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is leaving for Switzerland to participate in the Davos Forum. It is expected that he will hold talks with US President Donald Trump there," al-Sisi's office said in a press release. The two leaders plan to "discuss the latest developments in the regional and global arenas."
Previously, there were no reports of Al-Sisi's intention to personally participate in the Davos Forum.
