Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that any attack on the country's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will be considered as a declaration of war on the Iranian people. He also stated that due to the sanctions of Washington and its allies, a difficult economic situation has arisen in the country. Earlier, US President Donald Trump told Politico that it is time to look for new leadership in Iran.

Meanwhile, the situation in Iran has calmed down. More than two weeks of anti-government protests have killed 3,000 people, according to human rights groups. According to Reuters, the death toll exceeds 5,000. Iran's supreme leader also announced earlier that thousands of people were killed during the demonstrations. The official number of victims has not been mentioned yet.
