President of Kazakhstan Kamim-Jomart Tokayev received an official invitation from US President Donald Trump to join the Gaza Peace Council. This was reported by Ruslan Zheldibay, assistant to the leader of Kazakhstan and press secretary.

"President Kassim-Jomart Tokayev was one of the first world leaders to receive an official invitation to join the Peace Council, and Kazakhstan became a founding member. In response, the head of state sent a letter to the US president, expressing sincere gratitude and confirming his agreement to join this new organization," he noted.

Zheldibai also emphasized that Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment "to make a significant contribution to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East, strengthening interstate trust and global stability."
