Two Norwegian soldiers sent to Greenland on January 15 will return home this week, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported, citing a statement from the country's armed forces.

Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik announced on January 15 that the country will send two soldiers to Greenland.

"On January 15, the Norwegian Armed Forces sent two staff officers to Greenland. They are expected to return home this week," the statement said.
