Everything is being done for the Armenian people to live peacefully and sovereignly in Armenia, with a sovereign territory of 29 thousand 743 square kilometers.
RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan mentioned this today, on October 31, during the discussion of the 2025 budget project in the National Assembly.
"There is a bad history between Armenia and Azerbaijan, we have an occupied territory of more than 200 square kilometers, the issue of which we intend to solve within the framework of the demarcation process," he said.
According to Mirzoyan, there were Azerbaijani territories that were under the control of Armenia and there were Armenian territories that were under the control of Azerbaijan.
"We cannot say that everything was brilliant between us and now we can sign a memorandum on mutual cooperation in the field of education, etc., we have a problem and we are solving that problem," said the minister and noted that peaceful relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan they were not, now they are trying to confirm it.
