Israeli planes struck the southern Lebanese province of Tire, killing one person, according to a statement from the emergency operations center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
"As a result of an airstrike carried out by Israel on a vehicle in the city of Burj Rahal (Tir province), one civilian was killed and another was injured," the report said.
Lebanese authorities have repeatedly stated that Israel continues to systematically violate the sovereignty of the republic, despite the ceasefire agreement.
Israeli forces maintain a presence in five strategic locations in southern Lebanon, including the northern village of Ghajar, which Lebanese authorities consider an ongoing occupation and a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Interior, since the beginning of 2025, Israel has carried out more than 4,500 attacks on the territory of Lebanon. As a result of these attacks, more than 300 people were killed and more than 680 were injured.
