According to the latest data of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, the participation of citizens in the elections at 15:00 local time was 41.62 percent. Parliamentary elections in Georgia started at 8:00 a.m. Voters have to choose from 18 parties. The parties for which at least 5 percent of the voters will vote will enter the Georgian parliament.

It is noted that the election process is monitored by more than 1,700 observers from international organizations, as well as more than 23,000 observers from 111 local organizations. It is reported that the voting process will last until 20:00, after which the election commissions will start counting votes.
