The SCC countries have condemned the attacks on Iran's nuclear infrastructure by the United States and Israel

The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) strongly condemned the blows of the United States and Israel on Iran in June 2025 and noted the inadmissibility of damaging its nuclear infrastructure during military conflicts. This is stated in the final declaration of the summit in the Tyeanis.

"Member States strongly condemned military strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran in June 2025 by the United States of America. Such aggressive actions against civilian targets, "including nuclear energy infrastructure, which have led to the principles and norms of the deaths of civilians, as well as the UN Charter on the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the document said.

The SCO member states noted that the security of all nuclear infrastructure must be ensured during the period of armed conflict, "to protect the population and the environment from damage."
