RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's meeting with the Prime Minister of Vietnam was part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The interlocutors, emphasizing the further expansion and deepening of friendly relations between Armenia and Vietnam, discussed the agenda of mutual visits and diplomatic contacts, the intensification of cooperation in the field of trade and investment.
The parties noted with satisfaction that in recent years the bilateral trade is growing, but there is a great potential to consistently increase the volumes.
In this regard, the active activities of the Armenia-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, as well as holding political consultations between foreign ministries.
Reference was made to the international platforms to deepen ties in the field of tourism, the possibilities of facilitating mutual visits.
