"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"The RA government is showing inexplicable haste regarding the ratification of the regulations of the border demarcation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan. While Azerbaijan does not pull a finger, our authorities in violation of the law approved the draft regulation in the relevant committee and put it on the agenda of the NA sessions starting today. The regulation was discussed and adopted in the Supreme State Legal Committee yesterday at around 15:00. Meanwhile, Article 71 of the constitutional law "Regulation of the National Assembly" defines the procedure for examining drafts, that the draft could be included in tomorrow's agenda if it was adopted before 12:00 "After the decision of the commission is adopted, within 3 working days, no later than Friday of the week preceding the first regular sessions of the NA regular session, as well as 12:00 on Monday of the week of other regular sessions." Yesterday we asked Mher Grigoryan, the head of the Border Demarcation Commission, what is the reason for this haste. He said that they are not in a hurry, but there is no process in Azerbaijan. Mher Grigoryan responded: "You got it right, you know?" It's their responsibility to check, of course. But what information is there that Azerbaijan has started the process of ratification of the regulation? the deputy prime minister avoided the answer, assuring only that if Azerbaijan was not ready to ratify, he would not sign the regulation."
