People's artist of Russia Alyona Yakovleva was hospitalized in Moscow with suspicion of appendicitis, the 63-year-old actress told "Moscow" agency about this.

According to Yakovleva, she was not able to participate in the creative meeting at the Vakhtangov Theater because she is at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute. "They took me in an ambulance as soon as I played the play. Doctors suspect I may have appendicitis.
