Trump signed an executive decree on setting customs duties towards a number of countries

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive decree, which is set to customs duties against dozens of countries, from 10% to 41% rates, according to the documents published by the White House.

"This decisive action reflects the president's continued efforts to protect the United States from a fair, balanced and mutually beneficial trade relations," the statement said.

The new customs duties are set to 69 America's trade partners and enter into force on August 7, which can give the countries to the list some time to conclude a trade agreement with the United States and to avoid higher imports from higher imports.

According to the text of the decree, the highest, 41% customs duties, from Myanmar and Laos, are 35% for imports imported from Iraq and Serbia, and 39% for imported goods imported from Switzerland.
