Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk presented the new cabinet of ministers. The speech of the head of the Polish government was broadcast on TVP Info TV.
According to Tuski, the priority issues of the new cabinet will be the fight against Russia and Belarus' aggressive actions, as well as the fight against the "Diversion" in the internal arena and the restoration of order.
"We live in a certain sense in the prehistoric times," he said. In addition, Tusk noted that the aim of the rearrangements was to overcome the disagreements within the ruling coalition.
The Prime Minister stressed that the composition of the cabinet fell from 26 minister to 21. Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has also been appointed Deputy Prime Minister. Tusk has explained the rise in the position with the need to settle "complicated relations with Ukraine" at a higher level.
Markin Kervinski, who held this position since May 2024, returned to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration. Tomasz Siemionak remained a special service coordinator (the department was connected to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the last year).
