Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Syrian Interior President Ahmed al-Sharaa have agreed to set a ceasefire with Washington, US Special Representative for Syria Tom Barak said.
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Syrian President Ahmet Al-Sharaa, with US Secretary of State Marco Rubyo, agreed on a ceasefire, which defended Turkey, Jordan and its neighbors," Barack wrote on his x page.
The US Ambassador also called on the drivers, the Bedwins and Sunnis to settle the weapons and joined other minorities to "create a new, united Syrian identity with our neighbors to promote."
