Ukraine has received about 420,000 artillery from other countries from January to mid-May, Reuters reports, citing an anonymous source of the EU defense community.
According to its information, 160,000 bullets, or almost 40% of their total number, came from the United States. The agency notes that Washington remains the largest supplier of artillery weapons for Ukraine.
At the same time, the EU countries increase both own production and the purchases of the projectiles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces outside the European region.
On July 14, US President Donald Trump announced that Washington has decided to continue the transfer of weapons and military equipment to Kiev if Europe will pay for such supplies.
The US government expects that within the framework of a new deal with NATO, the allies of the bloc will buy American weapons for Ki, a total of about $ 10 billion, according to Axios portal.
