Kazakh President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev received Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak in Astana, and issues of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector were discussed at the meeting. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kazakhstan.
"During the meeting, the issues of further strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation were also discussed.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation conveyed to Tokayev's greetings of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, "emphasizing the high level of dialogue and cooperation between the two countries."
In his turn, Tokayev stressed that the interstate relations between Kazakhstan and Russia are developing very dynamic, friendship, good neighborhood and bloc.
