Scientists have found out how many cups of coffee a day can be drunk

Scientists from China's Capital Medical University have found that drinking more than six cups of coffee a day increases heart failure, coronary heart disease and stroke. The results of the work were published in Frontiers in Nutrition.

Water, tea and coffee are the most popular drinks in the world. To study how their use affects cardiovascular health, scientists have analyzed more than half a million people (210239 men and 251383 women).

While observing volunteers, scientists recorded all cardiovascular events. During the study, 11098 participants were incompetent heart failure, 3,3426, a sequencer of 1,9706, and 9706 had a stroke.

The results showed that the regular use of water is related to the lower risk of cardiovascular diseases in both men and women. In contrast, excessive use of coffee, more than six cups a day, increases both heart failure and coronary heart rate and stroke. Excessive use of tea is also associated with risk of cardiovascular disease.

Scientists have said that tea and coffee have had a greater impact on women. It turned out that the use of these drinks has partially weakened the protective of drinking water.
