US President Donald Trump announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping may visit the United States. Earlier, Trump announced that he spoke with Xi Jinping after his inauguration ceremony.
"Eventually, President Xi will come and everyone will," he told a White House press conference, according to NBC.
At the same time,as the TV channel explains, the head of the White House did not specify the possible dates of the visit.
Xi Jinping last visited the United States in November 2023 and met with then US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the APEC summit in San Francisco.
