Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez has said that the future of Gaza, which the United States is threatening with alienation, occupation, and ethnic cleansing, could become the future of the entire developing world.
“The future of Gaza could become the future of the entire developing world if the remnants of conscience and multilateralism do not react to the new imperialist-Zionist project of appropriation, occupation, and ethnic cleansing,” Diaz-Canel wrote on his X blog.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States would “take control” of the Gaza Strip and be responsible for the reconstruction of the region, as well as turn it into a “Middle Eastern Riviera” for the entire world.
At the same time, he called the Gaza Strip a place of destruction and said that its residents should permanently leave for other countries, offering, in particular, Jordan or Egypt for their residence. He also did not rule out that the US could send its army to Gaza, and promised that he would personally visit the zone.
