Iran will be able to overcome the economic difficulties caused by the new US President Donald Trump's maximum pressure policy by receiving the support of Russia and China. This opinion was expressed by Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, a member of the Majlis National Security Committee.
"Even under maximum pressure from the US, we can solve some economic problems by communicating with Russia, China and neighboring countries before the end of Donald Trump's presidential term," he said in an interview with Didban Iran.
According to the Iranian parliamentarian, the US president's maximum pressure policy aims to "disarm Iran", deprive it of its missile arsenal and weaken the economy.
Earlier, the representative of the Islamic Republic's government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that Tehran refuses to negotiate with Washington because the US does not understand the language of diplomacy.
