The Council of Turkey's Exporters (TİM) has published the data of the exports to Africa from Turkey. In particular, it is noted that Turkey's exports to African countries increased in 2024, reaching $ 19 billion 419 million. Exports increased by 1.7% year-on-year and 56 African countries were exported annually as compared to 2023.
77.3% of the exports were made to 10 leading countries on the continent, Algeria, Djibouti, Morocco, Ghana, South Africa, Libya, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia.
In total, 15 billion 14.1 million dollars have been exported to these countries. Most exports from Turkey ($ 3.5 billion) were made to Egypt, followed by Morocco, $ 3.1 billion and Libya - $ 2.5 billion. The sale of Africa was 7.4% of Turkey's total exports. Chemicals, food, electricity, textile, etc. were mainly exported.
