The alliance believes that the enhanced presence in the region, including the participation of Americans, can meet US security interests.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutrenic and Danish Prime Minister Mete Fredericksen agreed to strengthen the defense in the Arctic, Reuters reported, citing a familiar source.
