The presentation of the monograph dedicated to Tigran Mansuryan took place

On January 27, the 86th anniversary of the birthday of the famous Armenian composer Tigran Mansuryan was held at the RA National Academy of Sciences. Maestro Mansuryan was present at the event.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Daniel Danielyan and Academician of the Department of Armenian Studies and Social Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences Yuri Suvaryan gave a speech of welcome.

The Deputy Minister congratulated the Maestro on his birthday, wished him good health, plenty of sunshine, and many years of fruitful creative life.

Daniel Danielyan expressed his gratitude to Anna Arevshatyan, a leading researcher of the music department of the NAS Art Institute, a member of the board of the Union of Armenian Composers, an honored figure of RA art, doctor of art, professor Anna Arevshatyan for the creation of the monograph "Tigran Mansuryan", which is an important and meaningful gift to the public. "The publication of each book is a great asset, an important step in the development of our cultural heritage and self-awareness. Thanks to such works, we are able to deeply recognize our elders, their creations, and their legacy. Reading "Tigra Mansuryan" monograph, I got great satisfaction. it comprehensively reveals the Maestro, his creative life and activities. The author describes him as a musician, thinker, and artist. The work is the first scientific research dedicated to the study of Tigran Mansuryan's creative activity, where the author examined the composer's multi-genre work, his relationships 20 20th century world music, collaboration with a number of prominent musician-performers, as well as a composer aesthetic views".

It should be noted that "Tigran Mansuryan" monograph was published by "Gitutyun" publishing house of RA NAS. The editor of the work is Levon Hakobyan, Doctor of Arts (Moscow), the reviewers are Doctor of Arts, Professor Anna Asatryan and Doctor of Arts, Professor Mher Navoyan.

Anna Asatryan, director of the Institute of Art Studies, doctor, professor, also congratulated Tigran Mansuryan on his birthday and noted that although the composer received many expensive gifts, this anniversary is unique for at least 2 reasons. First, the Maestro receives congratulations on the occasion of his birthday in the prestigious scientific hall of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and secondly, a monograph was published as a gift, guaranteed by the Scientific Council of the Art Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

Anna Asatryan presented Tigran Mansuryan with the 1st edition of the monograph "TIgran Mansuryan", as well as the picture book "Portrait in the Art of Pharaoh Mirzoyan", in which there is a portrait of Tigran Mansuryan painted by a talented artist.

The author of the monograph, Anna Arevshatyan, and the reviewer, leading researcher of the music department of the Art Institute of the NAS of RA, doctor of arts, professor Mher Navoyan also gave a speech of welcome.
