iPhone 16 Pro will cost as much as iPhone X, will be thinner and last longer on a single charge

The iPhone 16 Pro will retain its $1,000 price, the same as when the iPhone X launched in 2017, according to a new tweet by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. This contradicts earlier reports that the iPhone 16 Pro would start at $1,100 due to the switch to a minimum storage capacity of 256 GB. Apple applied a similar price increase to the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year, removing the 128 GB version and raising the price from $1,100 to $1,200. Gurman stated that the base iPhone 16 Pro will still be priced at $1,000 in the U.S.Gurman also mentioned that the bezel has become even thinner, and battery life has noticeably improved. AI and the A18 chips will be key highlights of today’s presentation. The new "capture button" is expected to be on all four models, not just the Pro versions.
