Beijing has assured that they will continue to support the organization after Washington's withdrawal from the WTO.

The Chinese side will continue to support the activities of the World Health Organization (WHO), as reported by "Interfax" agency, on January 21, after the decision of US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the organization.

"China, as it has always done, will support the WHO in its missions," said Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Guo Jiakun. He noted that this is necessary for "the health of all mankind." "The role of the WTO should be strengthened, not weakened," the official added.

Earlier, Trump signed a decree to withdraw from the World Health Organization. In his opinion, the USA pays too much money to the organization compared to others.
