Trump plans to sign about 100 executive orders shortly after his inauguration

The newly elected US President Donald Trump has announced that he intends to sign almost 100 executive orders on his first day in office, according to the American media.

"Within a few hours of taking office, I will sign dozens of decrees, the number of which will reach a hundred," the media quoted the elected leader of America as saying.

Trump added that the documents will be aimed at "undoing many of the things that the outgoing President of the United States, Joe Biden, has done."
Stephen Moore, a senior economic adviser to Trump's campaign, said earlier that the new head of state could sign 50 to 100 executive orders on his first day in office, with more expected in the coming weeks.

The economist believes that most of the decrees will be devoted to energy issues. Thus, Trump could revoke Biden's orders related to bans on energy production and exploitation of new oil and gas fields in certain areas, the use of electric cars, funding for clean energy development projects and tightening environmental standards.
