The representatives of the foreign and the defense ministries of Syria and Turkey, with the participation of their colleagues from Russia and Iran, may enter into negotiations in the near future in order to normalize bilateral relations, an Arab diplomatic source informed Al Watan newspaper.According to the source, the talks between these delegations could take place in late September. However, the source did not say the venue of these negotiations.According to the source, the development of the cooperation mechanism between Damascus and Ankara in the fight against terrorism, as well as the timeframe for the withdrawal of the occupying Turkish forces from the Syrian territory, will be discussed at the upcoming talk.In this regard, Al Watan's source did not rule out that the agenda of these negotiations may include the matter of making amendments to the 1998 Adana Agreement, which refers to bilateral cooperation to ensure border security control.
