"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper got hold of the agenda of the event dedicated to the Judiciary, organized by the RA Supreme Judicial Council, where it is stated that at 12:15 PM Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly, will make a 5-minute speech, while officially on January 8 an announcement was made that the Speaker of the National Assembly will be on annual vacation from January 8-14.
In other words, Artur Atabekyan, the newly appointed chairman of the Central Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is not aware of the situation and has not even instructed to check with the office of state officials whether they will participate in the event, whether their speech has been approved or not.
This is a direct assessment of the work of the Central Committee and proves how disconnected they are from reality and how dependent they are on the government.
They didn't even think it was necessary to remove the name of the NA Speaker from the agenda, by the way, it is perhaps the first time in history that an event is organized by the judiciary or in the legal field where lawyers are not invited.
"Zhoghovurd" daily learned that Simon Babayan, the President of the Chamber of Advocates, was not invited and did not participate in the event.
We tried to find out why from the Chamber of Advocates. In response, the staff only informed that they did not receive an official invitation. This is an obvious discriminatory attitude, which was never manifested."
