The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan, signed an order on January 10, which states:

To dismiss Yura Seryozhai Ivanyan, head of the investigation department of the investigation of particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the head of the department for the investigation of crimes of abuse of authority or abuse of authority by the use of violence by officials, Yura Seryozhai Ivanyan from his post, based on his written application.
