Melikbekyan once again "caught the eye" by spreading false information. Arthur Soghomonyan

FFA president Armen Melikbekyan once again "got caught" by spreading false information, as if he won a court case related to me and was happy that he could get some monetary compensation, the former owner of "Pyunik" Artur Soghomyan made a statement about this.

"In reality, the situation is completely different. Last week, the court of first instance published a verdict regarding the lawsuit filed by FFA president Armen Melikbekyan against me as the owner of "Pyunik" club. The demand was for the restoration of honor and dignity. This legal process dragged on for more than two years.

Not wanting to delve into legal formulations and wanting to explain the situation as clearly as possible, I would like to say that the court has decided that my statements to the FFA management are not considered defamatory, as there is no requirement for a public apology.

In other words, Armen Melikbekyan lost the main claim of the lawsuit. The court also considered a significant part of Melikbekyan's claims to be unfounded, regarding the inefficient spending of money received from state, sponsoring and international organizations.

There is also no mention of the statements made by me, which referred to the BCMA club founded by the FFA, that the FFA management turned it into a way to release the children of high-ranking people and people around them from the army, where after two years of stay, they mostly leave football.

In the judgment, there is also no demand for rebuttal addressed to me, about the statements that refer to the transportation of non-football people on chartered flights carrying the national team.

Perhaps the claimant side could not justify what is the connection between the people who went with the national team with the 4 flyers and the national team.

I announce that regardless of the amount of money, I will appeal it and I will demand that the claimant be obliged to compensate the court costs and all the received money will be transferred to the development of youth football in Armenia, which is "successfully" destroying the current leadership of the FFA under the leadership of Armen Melikbekyan," the statement said. in
