In the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg, two schoolchildren tried to make firecrackers and ended up in the hospital with chemical burns in their eyes.

Two 12-year-old children decided to make firecrackers from cleaning solution and water. The boys poured the obtained liquid into a bottle and threw it by force.

However, there was no explosion, so one of the "inventors" decided to check why the toy didn't work.

When the boy approached the bottle, it caught fire. The victim needs medical help.

He was hospitalized in critical condition with a chemical eye burn.
