Militants associated with Syria's new Islamist administration have publicly executed a supporter of the country's ousted president, Bashar al-Assad, The Telegraph reports, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
According to the organization, on Friday morning, militants shot Mazen Knene in the head in one of the streets of Dummar, a suburb of Damascus, the capital of Syria.
A video shared online shows the man's body tied to a tree trunk, his leather jacket and jeans covered in blood from a bullet to the head.
