On December 27, 2024, the prosecutor handed over the criminal proceedings regarding V.S. and A.S., the nephews of the former head of the Dilijan community of Tavush region, to the Anti-Corruption Court.
V.S. and A.S. were charged with the fact that, in exchange for $16,000, by using their influence over officials, they facilitated the sale of a plot of land with an area of 800 square meters owned by the Dilijan community. be sold to their desired person through auction.

In the criminal proceedings examined by the Anti-Corruption Committee, it was found that V.S. and A.S., having learned from their close friend H.M. that he intends to purchase a plot of land in the Dilijan community, demanded 16,000 from him in the summer of 2020. USD to use their alleged influence over officials to auction off the above land to him. On July 6, 2020, by the decision of the former head of the Dilijan community, the 800 square meter plot was put up for auction at a starting price of AMD 2 million.
Two close friends of H.M. participated in the auction. one of them won the auction with a price offer of 2 million 205 thousand drams. Equivalent to the US dollar: 7 million 762 thousand drams.
On November 28, 2024, the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.S. and V.S., according to Article 3112, Part 4, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003 (alleged influence receiving particularly large sums of money in return for use for a purpose).
On December 27, 2024, the indictment against A.S. and V.S. was confirmed and submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court together with the proceedings.
